The VALUE COLLECTION LW7X00500-100BX is a metric split lock washer sized for M5 fasteners. Made from 18-8 austenitic stainless steel to Grade A2 designation, this washer creates a spring-tension bite against the mating surface to resist vibration-induced loosening. It measures 5.1 mm minimum inside diameter, 5.4 mm maximum inside diameter, 9.2 mm maximum outside diameter, and 1.2 mm thick. Sold in a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces, it conforms to DIN 127B. Installers in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work use this type of fastener hardware wherever stainless corrosion resistance and metric sizing are required.
This split lock washer is suited for M5 threaded fastener assemblies in both residential and light commercial applications. It is commonly used in equipment mounting, panel assembly, pipe bracket installation, and similar mechanical connections where vibration or thermal cycling could back out a fastener over time. The stainless steel material makes it appropriate for damp or corrosive environments such as outdoor equipment pads, mechanical rooms, and pool-area installations where carbon steel hardware would corrode. Sold in boxes of 100, it is well suited for shop stock and service-van inventory.
Designed for use with M5 metric threaded fasteners in assemblies requiring a DIN 127B split lock washer in 18-8 stainless steel.
Split lock washers are typically installed by mechanical technicians, HVAC installers, plumbers, and electricians as part of bolted or screwed assemblies. Place the washer between the fastener head and the mating surface, or between a flat washer and the fastener head, before torquing down. Do not reuse a lock washer that has been fully compressed flat, as it will no longer provide effective spring tension. Follow applicable equipment manufacturer torque specifications for the M5 fastener being used.
