Manufactured from Grade C steel with a clear cadmium plating, this UNC-threaded fastener measures 0.375 inches in height and 0.6875 inches across the flats. The distorted thread design creates an interference fit during installation, generating prevailing torque without relying on a secondary locking element such as a nylon insert or a serrated flange. This nut is suited for use with 7/16-14 UNC bolts and threaded rod in right-hand thread configurations.
