The VALUE COLLECTION L09NE101 is a 5/8-11 UNC hex lock nut with a nylon insert, manufactured from 316 stainless steel. The nylon insert provides prevailing-torque locking action, resisting loosening caused by vibration and dynamic loads without the need for adhesives or additional locking hardware. At 15/16 inches across the flats and 3/4 inches tall, this nut is sized for standard 5/8-inch threaded fastener applications. The 316 stainless steel construction offers strong resistance to corrosion, including chloride and marine environments. Installation Notes
