The VALUE COLLECTION KV-3T1-0217-M1 is a three-element, pipe plug immersion heater designed to heat liquids directly within a tank or vessel. It operates on a 3-phase, 480-volt supply and delivers 10,000 watts of heating capacity through an Incoloy element sheath rated at 50 watts per square inch. The immersion length is 25 inches, and the unit mounts via a 2-inch NPT brass plug, making it a direct-thread installation into standard tank fittings. A built-in thermostat is included for temperature control. This heater is installed by industrial maintenance technicians, plumbers, or mechanical contractors working on process heating, water heating, or fluid conditioning systems.
This immersion heater is suited for industrial and commercial applications where large-volume liquid heating is required. Typical installations include process tanks, water storage systems, and fluid reservoirs that require sustained, high-wattage heat input. The Incoloy element material provides resistance to corrosion and oxidation, making it appropriate for water and mildly corrosive fluid service. The 2-inch NPT brass plug fits standard tank openings and is compatible with common industrial tank configurations. The included thermostat allows on-unit temperature regulation without requiring a separate external controller.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct installation option for industrial and commercial tank heating applications requiring a 2-inch NPT pipe plug immersion heater with a 25-inch immersion length.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified mechanical contractor familiar with 3-phase industrial wiring. Disconnect and lock out all power to the circuit before handling the heater or making any wiring connections. Ensure the tank or vessel is depressurized and drained to below the immersion length before removing or installing the unit. Consult applicable NEC requirements for industrial heating equipment wiring and overcurrent protection.
