The VALUE COLLECTION KP9819 is a stainless steel concrete wedge anchor designed for fastening structural and mechanical components to poured concrete. The anchor measures 1/4 inch in diameter with an overall length of 3-1/4 inches and a minimum embedment depth of 1-1/8 inches. The 2-1/4 inch thread length provides adequate engagement for nuts and washers after setting. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this anchor resists corrosion in both interior and exterior applications. Installation requires a hex drive. Licensed tradespeople including electricians, HVAC technicians, and plumbers install these anchors when securing equipment bases, pipe hangers, conduit straps, and mechanical supports to concrete substrates.
This wedge anchor is suited for light-duty concrete fastening tasks in residential and commercial settings. Typical applications include mounting electrical panels, securing HVAC equipment pads, anchoring pipe support brackets, and attaching equipment rails or strut channel to concrete floors, walls, and ceilings. The 304 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for damp or corrosive environments where carbon steel anchors would be unsuitable. The package contains 25 anchors, providing enough quantity for multi-point equipment mounting or repeat service calls.
Designed as an OEM-style wedge anchor for use in poured concrete installations requiring a 1/4 inch diameter fastener with hex head drive.
Wedge anchors are installed by licensed tradespeople following applicable building and mechanical codes. Drill a hole in the concrete matching the anchor diameter using a carbide-tipped hammer drill bit, then clear the hole of debris before inserting the anchor. Torque the nut to the manufacturer-specified value using a calibrated torque wrench — do not use impact tools to final-torque. Confirm minimum embedment depth is achieved before applying load.
