The VALUE COLLECTION KP83314 is an unequal double threaded stud designed for fastening applications that require different thread engagement lengths on each end. Machined from carbon steel to a material grade of 8.8, this stud delivers reliable tensile strength for mechanical and structural assemblies. The overall length is 52 mm, with a long thread length of 26 mm, a short thread length of 12 mm, and an unthreaded shank of 14 mm. Both ends are threaded M10 x 1.5. The uncoated finish means corrosion protection, if required, must be applied or sourced separately. Typical installers include machinists, millwrights, and maintenance technicians working on equipment assemblies, fixtures, or machinery frames.
This stud is suited for use in mechanical assemblies where a fixed threaded post is needed in a tapped hole on one end and a nut-secured connection on the other. The unequal thread length configuration allows for varying engagement depth on each side, which is useful when threading into materials of different thicknesses or when torque distribution requirements differ between the two connection points. Sold in packages of 25 units with a minimum order quantity of 1 package.
Designed as a standard metric double-end stud for use in tapped-hole assemblies requiring M10 x 1.5 thread engagement on both ends.
Installation of double-end studs is typically performed by machinists or maintenance mechanics using a stud driver or a two-nut locking method to thread the short end into the tapped base material first. Verify the base material thread depth is sufficient to fully engage the short thread end before installing. Do not apply excessive torque to the stud body, as this can damage threads in softer base materials. If the application involves exposure to moisture or corrosive environments, apply an appropriate coating or plating prior to installation.
