The VALUE COLLECTION KP25957 is an undersized key stock bar used to secure rotating components to shafts in mechanical drive systems. Measuring 3/4 inch high by 3/4 inch wide by 36 inches long, this bar is manufactured from cold drawn steel and finished with a zinc plating for corrosion resistance. Undersized key stock is intentionally produced slightly below nominal dimensions to allow for precise fitting with a keyseat and keyway, giving machinists and maintenance technicians the clearance needed for proper assembly without binding. This stock is cut to length in the field and installed by industrial mechanics, millwrights, and maintenance technicians.
