The VALUE COLLECTION ICP75325M is a solid carbide turning insert in the RCMT style, designed for use in CNC and manual lathe operations. It carries the ANSI insert code RCMT32.5 and ISO insert code RCMT097300, with a round insert shape and a 3/8 inch (0.375 inch) inscribed circle. The manufacturer grade is TCN55, a carbide grade suited for turning ferrous and stainless workpiece materials classified under primary material codes M and P. The insert features a positive side clearance, a 7-degree relief angle, and a T-style chip breaker. Machinists and tooling specialists install this insert into compatible RCMT-style toolholders secured by screw clamping.
This insert is applied in turning operations on lathes handling medium-duty cuts on steel, stainless steel, and similar materials. The round insert shape provides multiple usable cutting edges and is well suited for profiling, contouring, and general turning passes. It is packaged individually and sold in multiples of 10, making it appropriate for shop-stock replenishment or production tooling programs where consistent insert grade and geometry are required across multiple machines or operators.
Designed as a direct replacement-style insert for RCMT-style screw-lock toolholders accepting a 3/8 inch inscribed circle round insert with an ANSI size code of 32.5 and ISO size code 097300.
Insert installation and indexing should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the machine fully powered down and in a locked-out state. Use the appropriate torx or hex key to seat the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping screw for wear or debris before seating a new insert. Do not force the insert into the pocket or overtighten the clamping screw, as either can fracture the carbide or damage the toolholder seating surface.
