The VALUE COLLECTION ICP65130C is a solid carbide turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Conforming to ANSI insert code VBMT221 and ISO insert code VBMT110304, this insert features a 35-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a positive side clearance angle of 5 degrees. The substrate is carbide grade C5, coated with titanium nitride (TiN) to improve surface hardness and wear resistance. A 0.0156-inch corner radius provides a sharp, defined cutting edge suited to finishing and light roughing passes. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working with ferrous and stainless alloys are the typical installers of this insert.

This insert is appropriate for turning applications on workpiece material codes M and P, which correspond broadly to stainless steels and carbon and alloy steels. The VBMT style with a screw-lock holding method seats securely in compatible VBMT-style toolholders.
