Manufactured to ANSI insert code VBMT332 and ISO code VBMT160408, this insert features a 35-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a positive side clearance angle of 5 degrees. The Al2O3 (aluminum oxide) ceramic coating improves wear resistance and thermal stability during cutting operations. With a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a 1/32-inch corner radius, this insert suits fine-to-medium finishing passes. It is held in place by a screw-lock method and is intended for use by machinists and toolroom technicians on production turning applications.
