The VALUE COLLECTION ICC21018B is a solid carbide turning insert designed for use in CNC and manual lathe operations. Conforming to ANSI insert code SPGH433 and ISO insert code SPGH120412, this uncoated bright-finish carbide insert delivers consistent cutting performance in general turning applications. The square insert geometry features a 90-degree included angle, a 3/64-inch corner radius, and an 11-degree relief angle with positive side clearance. Grade I55 carbide construction with material grades C5 and C6 makes this insert suitable for a range of ferrous workpiece materials. It is held in place via screw clamping and is sized with a 1/2-inch inscribed circle and a 3/16-inch insert thickness.

This insert is intended for turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers in production and job-shop environments. The SPGH style with positive clearance geometry is commonly applied when machining steel and similar primary workpiece materials designated under ISO material group P. The H-style chip breaker supports chip control during medium-depth turning passes. Machinists and CNC operators in precision machining shops represent the primary installers of this insert type.
