Value Collection FWSIS0-60-10LBBX Sae Flat Washer No. 6

Product Description

The VALUE COLLECTION FWSIS0-60-10LBBX is a No. 6 screw SAE flat washer made from Grade 2 steel with a zinc-plated finish. SAE flat washers provide a standard bearing surface under bolt heads and nuts, distributing load and reducing surface damage on fastened materials. This washer measures 5/32 inches inside diameter, 3/8 inches outside diameter, and 0.065 inches thick. The zinc plating provides basic corrosion resistance suitable for general indoor and light-duty fastening applications. It is sold individually and is a common hardware item stocked by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors for maintenance and installation work.

This washer is suited for use with No. 6 fasteners in residential and light commercial applications. It fits standard No. 6 machine screws and bolts where an SAE-sized bearing surface is required. Common installation scenarios include panel mounting, equipment brackets, junction box hardware, and general mechanical assemblies where a thin, SAE-standard washer is specified. The inch-measurement system and SAE sizing make it compatible with standard imperial fastener sets used across the trades.

Installation Notes

SAE flat washers are installed by general contractors, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians as part of routine fastener assemblies. Place the washer over the fastener shank before seating the nut or driving into a tapped hole to distribute clamping load. No special tools are required. Ensure the fastener and washer material are compatible with the installation environment to avoid galvanic corrosion when used near dissimilar metals.
