The VALUE COLLECTION FSD14300 is a split drive concrete anchor designed for fastening into solid concrete, block, and masonry substrates. The anchor measures 3 inches in overall length with a 1/4 inch diameter and requires a minimum embedment depth of 1-1/8 inches to achieve rated holding strength. Constructed from steel with a zinc-plated finish for basic corrosion resistance, it features a flat head profile that sits flush with the surface once driven. This type of anchor is installed by driving it into a pre-drilled hole of matching diameter, making it a common choice for light-duty concrete fastening tasks.
Split drive concrete anchors are used in residential and light commercial construction, concrete formwork anchoring, electrical and plumbing rough-in work, and general trade applications where a quick, hammer-set fastener is needed. The flat head design is well suited for applications where a low-profile or flush-mount result is required. Installation does not require threading or epoxy, which speeds up workflow on the job site.
Designed for use in solid concrete, concrete block, and masonry applications requiring a 1/4 inch diameter hammer-set flat head anchor with 3 inch overall length.
Installation is performed by drilling a 1/4 inch diameter hole to the required depth, clearing debris, and driving the anchor flush using a hammer or mallet. Follow applicable building codes for minimum edge distance and spacing when anchoring into concrete or masonry. Verify substrate condition and embedment depth before applying load. This anchor is not intended for use in hollow masonry cavities without appropriate backing.
