The VALUE COLLECTION FRFNY2-156 is a fully insulated female wire disconnect terminal designed for crimp-style electrical connections. The blue nylon insulation sleeve covers the entire contact area, providing protection against incidental contact and helping technicians identify wire gauge range at a glance. The brass contact accepts 16-14 AWG conductors (1.50 to 2.50 sq mm) and mates with a 0.154-inch (3.90 mm) tab. This type of terminal is a standard component in low-voltage wiring harnesses, control circuit connections, and field-wiring applications across HVAC, electrical, and related trades.
Female disconnect terminals in this configuration are used wherever a quick-disconnect wiring point is needed without soldering. Typical applications include control board wiring, fan motor leads, relay connections, and accessory wiring in residential and light commercial equipment. The fully insulated nylon body suits installations where exposed contact points must be minimized. These terminals are sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 25 units.
Designed as a standard female crimp disconnect terminal compatible with 0.154-inch tab male disconnects used in residential and light commercial control wiring applications.
Installation is performed with a calibrated wire terminal crimping tool sized for 16-14 AWG insulated terminals. Strip wire to the length specified by the terminal manufacturer before inserting into the barrel. Always de-energize the circuit before terminating or disconnecting wiring. Installations in commercial or residential electrical systems should comply with applicable NEC requirements for the circuit type.
