The VALUE COLLECTION FHS1XX1635 is a metric flat socket cap screw designed for applications where a flush or countersunk fastening profile is required. The screw features a 90-degree flat head with a 10 mm hex socket drive, an M16x2 thread size, and a nominal length of 35 mm. It is fully threaded and manufactured from 316 austenitic stainless steel to Grade A4, providing strong corrosion resistance in wet, marine, and chemically aggressive environments. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors commonly use this hardware in process piping assemblies, pump housings, and equipment panels where flush mounting and corrosion resistance are both required.
This screw is suited for industrial, commercial, and marine installation scenarios where fastener heads must sit flush with or below the surface of the mating component. The M16x2 metric thread and Grade A4 stainless construction make it appropriate for stainless steel pipe flanges, equipment enclosures, pool equipment frames, and similar corrosion-prone assemblies. Its fully threaded shank allows consistent clamping force across the entire engaged thread length, which is useful in thin-material applications or where thread engagement depth is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style or replacement metric flat socket cap screw for assemblies requiring an M16x2 thread size and a countersunk head profile per DIN 7991.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic, pipefitter, or maintenance technician using a properly sized 10 mm hex key or Allen socket. Ensure the mating countersink is machined to the correct 90-degree included angle before driving the fastener. De-energize or depressurize any system before replacing fasteners in live assemblies. Do not exceed the rated thread engagement depth for the base material to avoid stripping the 6G metric threads.
