The VALUE COLLECTION FHS1XX12100-025BX is a metric flat socket cap screw designed for flush or countersunk fastening applications where a low-profile head is required. Built from 316 austenitic stainless steel to Material Grade A4, this fastener delivers strong corrosion resistance in wet, marine, chemical, and food-service environments. The 90-degree flat head seats into a countersunk hole for a smooth surface finish. Drive engagement is through an 8 mm hex socket. The screw is partially threaded with a 30 mm thread length, an overall length of 100 mm, and conforms to DIN 7991 with a Thread Fit Class of 6G. Mechanical, maintenance, and industrial trades use this fastener wherever a metric countersunk drive screw is called for.
This fastener is suited for applications requiring metric hardware in corrosive or high-moisture environments. The 316 stainless steel alloy resists chloride-induced corrosion, making it appropriate for marine equipment, pool and water treatment fixtures, chemical processing assemblies, and outdoor structural connections. The DIN 7991 standard ensures dimensional consistency for use in machined, fabricated, and structural assemblies where precise countersunk fastening is needed. Sold individually, it is available for single-unit replacement or small-quantity procurement.
Designed as a DIN 7991 metric flat socket cap screw for use in countersunk fastening applications requiring an M12x1.75 thread. Verify countersink angle and hole geometry prior to installation.
Installation should be performed by qualified mechanical or maintenance technicians using a calibrated hex key or socket driver sized to 8 mm. Countersink the mating hole to a 90-degree included angle and confirm hole depth matches the head geometry before driving. Do not mix metric and imperial hardware in the same assembly. Torque to the value specified by the assembly engineer or applicable fastener standard for 316 stainless steel M12 hardware, as no torque value was provided with this part.
