The VALUE COLLECTION DXB.NSB is a malleable iron pipe bushing designed to reduce a 1/2-inch female pipe thread to a 1/4-inch male pipe thread. This Class 150 fitting carries a galvanized finish for corrosion resistance and is rated for 300 psi on liquid and gas service and 150 psi on steam service. Malleable iron construction provides the toughness needed to handle mechanical stress and vibration in threaded piping systems. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of bushing when connecting smaller-diameter pipe or components to a larger threaded port.
