The VALUE COLLECTION CLNI20750-020B is a distorted-thread hex lock nut designed to resist loosening under vibration and dynamic loading. Manufactured from Grade 2 steel with a zinc-plated finish for basic corrosion resistance, this nut uses a mechanically deformed thread section to create prevailing torque without the need for a nylon insert or secondary locking element. It measures 41/64 inches in height with a 1-1/8 inch width across flats. The right-hand thread pattern conforms to UNC and UNF fastener standards. This type of hardware is commonly installed by millwrights, maintenance technicians, electricians, and plumbers in general mechanical assembly and equipment repair applications.
