The VALUE COLLECTION CD555899 is a zinc-plated steel concrete wedge anchor designed to fasten structural and non-structural materials to solid concrete. At 5/8 inches in diameter with an 8-1/2 inch overall length and a 6-1/2 inch thread length, this anchor delivers substantial holding depth for heavy-duty fastening applications. The hex head drive type accepts standard wrenches and impact tools, allowing controlled installation torque. The zinc-plated finish provides a baseline level of corrosion resistance suited to interior and covered exterior environments. Material grade 1018 steel provides a reliable balance of strength and machinability for anchor production. Each package contains 10 anchors and ships at a minimum order quantity of 1 package.
Concrete wedge anchors of this diameter and length are commonly used in commercial and light industrial construction for anchoring equipment bases, structural steel connections, hangers, brackets, and mechanical supports to poured concrete slabs, walls, and footings. They are a standard fastener for HVAC equipment pads, electrical panel supports, and plumbing riser clamps where concrete substrate is present. Installation is performed by licensed tradespeople including HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and general contractors working with concrete-anchored assemblies.
Designed for use with standard nut and washer hardware in solid poured concrete substrates. Suitable for OEM-style replacement or new installation in applications requiring a 5/8 inch diameter wedge anchor with hex head drive.
Concrete wedge anchors of this type are installed by drilling a matching-diameter hole to the required embedment depth using a hammer drill and carbide-tipped bit before setting the anchor. Follow applicable building codes and manufacturer embedment guidelines for the load type and concrete strength of the substrate. Ensure the concrete has reached full cure before anchoring under load. Always wear appropriate eye and hearing protection during drilling and driving operations.
