The VALUE COLLECTION CD555890 is a zinc-plated steel concrete wedge anchor designed for permanent fastening into concrete, masonry, and solid base materials. Measuring 3/4 inch in diameter with an overall length of 6-1/4 inches and a thread length of 3-3/4 inches, this anchor provides deep embedment and reliable holding strength in structural anchoring applications. The hex head drive type allows installation with standard hex tooling. Manufactured from 1018 steel with a zinc-plated finish, it resists corrosion in typical interior and light exterior environments. Each package contains 10 anchors and is sold in a minimum order quantity of 1 package.
Concrete wedge anchors of this size are commonly used in commercial and industrial construction, mechanical equipment mounting, structural steel attachment, and HVAC equipment pad anchoring. The 3/4 inch diameter and 6-1/4 inch overall length make this anchor suitable for applications requiring substantial embedment depth and load capacity in poured concrete or masonry substrates. Installation requires a matching-diameter hammer drill bit and a torque wrench or impact driver with a hex socket. Each anchor is used with a standard nut and washer, which are included as part of the intended fastener assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use wedge anchor for structural and mechanical fastening applications in poured concrete and solid masonry substrates.
Installation should be performed by a qualified trades professional following applicable building codes and anchor manufacturer embedment depth requirements. Before drilling, ensure the concrete substrate is fully cured and free of voids at the anchor location. Use a hammer drill with a 3/4 inch carbide-tipped bit to bore the hole to the required depth, then clear debris before driving the anchor. Always torque the nut to the value specified by the engineer of record or the project specification — do not over-torque, as this can reduce pullout strength.
