The VALUE COLLECTION CA6X012035-025BX is a metric carriage bolt with an M12 x 1.75 thread size and a 35 mm length under head. It features a square neck below the domed head, which pulls into the mating material during installation to resist rotation without requiring a wrench on the bolt. The fastener is manufactured from Austenitic Grade A2 stainless steel, offering solid corrosion resistance in wet, outdoor, and mildly chemical environments. This bolt conforms to DIN 603 standards and is suited for general mechanical assembly, structural connections, and fabrication work where a metric fastener with a clean low-profile head is required.
This carriage bolt is appropriate for residential and light commercial construction, equipment fabrication, marine adjacent applications, and any assembly calling for a DIN 603 metric fastener. The A2 stainless steel material grade makes it a common choice in applications where mild corrosion resistance is needed and carbon steel fasteners are not acceptable. Installers working in food service equipment, outdoor structures, or stainless-welded assemblies frequently specify this grade. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one unit.
Designed as a DIN 603 standard metric carriage bolt suitable for use with M12 metric nuts and appropriately sized clearance holes in steel, wood, and composite assemblies requiring a square-neck anti-rotation fastener.
Carriage bolts are typically installed by tradespeople and general contractors using standard hand tools. Insert the bolt through a pre-drilled clearance hole sized for M12 hardware and apply a nut and washer from the back side, drawing the square neck into the material to lock the bolt against rotation. Do not use an impact driver directly on the domed head. Verify that mating hardware is also A2 or compatible stainless steel to avoid galvanic corrosion in wet service conditions.
