The VALUE COLLECTION C18957 is a metric fine-thread hex nut designed for general-purpose fastening applications requiring a low-profile, thin-profile configuration. Built from Grade 2H steel with a zinc-plated finish, this nut meets DIN 439 and ISO 4035 standards for dimensional and mechanical consistency. The M14 x 1.50 thread size and 22 mm across-flats width make it a reliable choice for assemblies where a standard hex nut profile would be too tall. Right-hand thread direction follows conventional fastening orientation. This package contains 25 nuts, making it suitable for both single repairs and small production runs.
This nut is used in mechanical assemblies, structural connections, and equipment fabrication across a range of trades and industries. The thin-profile design is especially common in jam-nut applications, where a second nut is threaded against a primary nut to lock it in place. Suitable for use on metric-threaded fasteners in HVAC equipment frames, plumbing support hardware, electrical enclosures, and general industrial equipment. The zinc plating provides basic corrosion resistance for indoor and light-duty outdoor environments.
Designed as a standard replacement or stock hex nut for any M14 x 1.50 metric fine-thread fastener application conforming to DIN 439 or ISO 4035 dimensional standards.
Install using a standard 22 mm wrench or socket. Power down or de-energize any equipment before accessing fastener locations on live assemblies. When used as a jam nut, thread it against the primary nut and tighten both to lock the assembly. Do not use on coarse-thread or inch-series fasteners, as the M14 x 1.50 metric fine thread will not engage properly.
