The VALUE COLLECTION BOW-23075-H is a fully insulated, crimp-on butt splice terminal designed to create secure, inline wire-to-wire connections in electrical wiring harnesses and control circuits. The terminal features a heat shrink polyolefin sleeve that shrinks tightly around the crimped joint when heat is applied, providing both mechanical strain relief and an environmental seal against moisture ingress. Identified by its yellow color coding, this butt splice is suited for use by electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trade professionals who need a reliable, insulated inline splice without soldering. RoHS compliant construction meets current hazardous-substance standards for electrical components.
This terminal is used in residential and light commercial electrical work, HVAC low-voltage and line-voltage wiring repairs, control panel wiring, and automotive or marine harness applications. The crimp-on connection method requires no solder and no open flame beyond the heat gun used to activate the shrink sleeve, making it well suited for field repairs and panel assembly alike. Sold in a minimum order quantity of 25 units per order.
Designed as a general-purpose inline butt splice terminal for crimp-on electrical wiring applications where a fully insulated, heat shrink sealed connection is required.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified trade professionals. De-energize the circuit at the breaker or disconnect before stripping and splicing any conductors. Use a calibrated ratchet crimping tool appropriate for the terminal size to ensure a full, gas-tight crimp. After crimping, apply heat evenly along the sleeve with a heat gun until the polyolefin shrinks uniformly and adhesive seals around the wire jacket. Work performed in permanent electrical installations should comply with applicable NEC requirements.
