The VALUE COLLECTION BDNA--9994-5 is a Dash 333 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) with a round cross section. It measures 2-1/8 inches inside diameter and 3/16 inches thick, with a durometer hardness of 70 Shore A. NBR compounds offer reliable resistance to petroleum-based fluids, making this O-ring well suited for sealing applications in HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and general mechanical systems. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and maintenance mechanics commonly use O-rings of this type when servicing valves, fittings, pumps, and fluid-handling assemblies.
This O-ring is appropriate for use in both residential and light commercial applications wherever a Dash 333 inch-series O-ring is specified. Typical installations include valve stems, pipe unions, pump housings, and hydraulic cylinder ports operating within the fluid and temperature compatibility range of standard NBR compounds. The inch-system sizing follows standard dash-number conventions, so it drops in as a direct replacement wherever a Dash 333 O-ring is called for in service documentation.
Designed as a standard replacement for any application calling for a Dash 333 inch-series O-ring in NBR material.
O-rings of this type are installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified mechanical technicians. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing the old O-ring and installing the replacement. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before installation to prevent tearing during assembly. Do not stretch or roll the O-ring over sharp edges, and inspect the seating groove for damage before installing.
