The VALUE COLLECTION BDNA-15881 is a wrot copper pipe tee fitting used to create equal-branch splits in copper tubing runs. Machined from wrot copper for consistent grain structure and reliable soldered joints, this fitting connects three 5/8-inch copper tube ends in a standard C x C x C (sweat) configuration. It is a staple fitting for plumbing and HVAC refrigerant or hydronic piping work wherever a branch takeoff is needed on a straight run. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting daily in both residential and light commercial applications.
This tee is suited for use in domestic water supply lines, hydronic heating and cooling distribution piping, and refrigerant line sets where 5/8-inch copper tubing is specified. The equal-branch C x C x C end connection pattern accommodates a straight-run connection on two ports and a 90-degree branch on the third, making it appropriate for supply and return manifolds, zone piping, and branch feed lines.

This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians using a propane or MAP-gas torch, pipe cutter, deburring tool, flux, and lead-free solder per local plumbing code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the water or refrigerant system completely before cutting into any existing line. Clean and flux all mating tube ends and fitting sockets thoroughly before applying heat to ensure full solder penetration. Follow applicable IPC, IMC, or local mechanical code requirements for pressure testing after installation.
