The VALUE COLLECTION BD3267 is a mounted flap wheel designed for surface finishing, blending, and deburring applications on metal and other hard materials. This coated abrasive wheel uses aluminum oxide grain at 80 grit, placing it in the medium grade range — suitable for removing light stock, smoothing welds, and preparing surfaces before finishing. The 1/4-inch shank mounts directly to a die grinder or rotary tool, and the wheel is rated to a maximum of 25,000 RPM. With a 2-inch diameter and 1-inch face width, it covers a practical working area for contoured or cylindrical workpiece surfaces. Machinists, fabricators, and tool-and-die technicians are the primary users.
This flap wheel is suited for use on mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and similar metals in fabrication shops, maintenance environments, and production grinding operations. The coated abrasive construction allows the wheel to conform to irregular or curved surfaces more readily than rigid grinding wheels, making it well-suited for blending and light material removal on tubing, shafts, and cast components. It is intended for use with die grinders and flexible shaft machines that accept a 1/4-inch shank. Minimum order quantity is 10 units.
Designed for use with die grinders, flexible shaft machines, and rotary tools fitted with a 1/4-inch collet. Compatible with standard high-speed pneumatic and electric hand grinders used in metal fabrication and maintenance applications.
Install the 1/4-inch shank securely into the collet of a die grinder before starting the tool. Verify that the tool's rated speed does not exceed 25,000 RPM before operation. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow shop safety procedures when using abrasive wheels. Inspect the wheel for damage before each use and do not use a wheel that shows signs of cracking, fraying, or uneven wear.
