The VALUE COLLECTION BD3145 is a 12-inch bi-metal reciprocating saw blade designed for demanding cutting applications in the trades. The bi-metal construction pairs a high-speed steel cutting edge with a flexible alloy steel body, delivering durability through abrasive materials while resisting blade fatigue. At 10 teeth per inch (TPI) with a constant pitch pattern and a blade thickness of 0.05 inches, this blade is suited for aggressive cuts through wood with embedded fasteners, pipe, conduit, and general demolition material. The angled tip and toothed cutting edge support controlled entry cuts. Licensed tradespeople and experienced contractors rely on this blade configuration for day-to-day reciprocating saw work.
This blade fits standard reciprocating saws via its universal shank interface, making it compatible with most major tool platforms found on job sites. The tapered profile reduces blade binding in deep cuts and helps maintain tracking through varied material. Its rescue and demolition compatibility rating makes it a practical choice for HVAC rough-in, plumbing rough-in, electrical work, and general construction teardown where mixed-material cutting is routine. The blade is sold individually and requires a minimum order of five units.
Designed for use with reciprocating saws equipped with a universal shank receiver, which is the standard interface across most corded and cordless reciprocating saw platforms in professional and commercial use.
Blade changes should be performed with the tool unpowered and the battery removed or the tool unplugged. Verify the blade is fully seated and the shank locking mechanism is engaged before operation. Eye protection and cut-resistant gloves are standard PPE when operating reciprocating saws in demolition or rescue scenarios. Do not force the blade through material faster than the tool and blade TPI are designed to support, as this increases the risk of blade breakage.
