The VALUE COLLECTION BD3026 is a Type 1 (01/41) reinforced cutoff wheel designed for cutting steel in metalworking and fabrication applications. Measuring 4 inches in diameter and 0.035 inches thick with a 3/8-inch arbor hole, this wheel mounts on standard angle grinders and die grinders used by electricians, pipefitters, ironworkers, and general metal trades. The aluminum oxide abrasive grain is graded at 60 grit with a hardness code of S, and the wheel is rated for a maximum of 19,000 RPM. The A60S specification makes it well suited for aggressive cutting on ferrous metals without loading.
This cutoff wheel is intended for steel cutting tasks in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Typical applications include cutting conduit, pipe, rebar, steel plate, and structural steel members. The thin 0.035-inch profile minimizes material loss at the cut and reduces heat buildup during operation. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 5 units, making it appropriate for shop stock or job-site supply replenishment.
Designed for use on 4-inch angle grinders and die grinders with a 3/8-inch arbor, rated to a minimum of 19,000 RPM, for cutting steel and ferrous metal stock.
Cutoff wheels must be mounted and operated by personnel familiar with abrasive wheel safety per ANSI B7.1 guidelines. Before mounting, inspect the wheel for cracks or chips and verify the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 19,000 RPM rating marked on the wheel. Always power down and disconnect the grinder from its power source before changing wheels. Wear appropriate PPE including a face shield, gloves, and hearing protection during operation.
