The VALUE COLLECTION BD--CCMR-9 is a Class CC cartridge-style time delay fuse rated at 9 amps. It is a dual-element fuse designed to handle temporary overloads without nuisance tripping while still providing fast response to short-circuit conditions. Class CC fuses are compact, current-limiting fuses commonly found in control circuits, motor branch circuits, and industrial equipment panels. Licensed electricians and HVAC technicians install these fuses in fusible disconnect switches, control panels, and supplementary protection applications where a Class CC rejection-style fuse is specified.
Class CC time delay fuses are widely used in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, motor control centers, and general-purpose electrical panels. The time delay characteristic makes the BD--CCMR-9 suitable for circuits with inductive loads such as motors and transformers, where startup inrush current would otherwise open a fast-acting fuse. The rejection-style Class CC body prevents substitution with lower-rated fuse classes, maintaining proper circuit protection integrity.

Installation of branch circuit fuses must comply with NFPA 70 (NEC) Article 240 and any applicable local electrical codes. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before removing or installing fuses. Use an insulated fuse puller rated for the voltage of the circuit. Verify that the replacement fuse amperage, class, and interrupting rating match the requirements of the overcurrent protective device specification for the circuit.
