The VALUE COLLECTION BD--CCMR-15 is a Class CC cartridge-style time delay fuse rated at 15 amps. It uses a two-element design that distinguishes between a temporary overload and a true fault condition, holding through motor inrush and transformer magnetizing currents while opening quickly on a hard short circuit. The CC fuse class is defined by a rejection-style ferrule body that prevents substitution with lower-rated fuse classes, adding a layer of overcurrent protection integrity. Electricians and panel technicians install this fuse in branch circuit and control circuit applications where time delay characteristics are required to prevent nuisance tripping.
This fuse is suited for residential and light commercial electrical systems where Class CC fuseholders are specified. Typical applications include motor branch circuits, control panels, HVAC equipment disconnect blocks, and industrial control transformers where a short-circuit current rating of 300 kiloamperes (kA) AC is required. The compact cartridge form factor fits standard CC fuseholders commonly found in panel boards and inline fuse blocks. Sold in a package quantity of 10, this fuse is appropriate for service trucks, maintenance stock, and panel builds requiring multiple replacements.
Designed for use in standard Class CC fuseholders and fuse blocks. Compatible with panel boards, inline fuse holders, and control circuit assemblies that accept CC-class cartridge fuses with rejection ferrules.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC Article 240 and local electrical codes. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before removing or installing fuses. Use an insulated fuse puller rated for the voltage of the circuit being serviced. Verify the fuseholder is rated for Class CC fuses before installation to ensure proper rejection fitment.
