The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18372 is a locking fork terminal designed for secure, vibration-resistant electrical connections in control wiring and equipment termination applications. The partially insulated nylon body is yellow, indicating compatibility with wire ranges standard to that color coding in the trade. The terminal connects via crimp and is rated for 600 volts. The copper contact features a TiN (titanium nitride) plating for corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity. The locking fork design keeps the terminal seated on the stud even when the fastener is not fully tightened, reducing the risk of an open circuit during service or vibration.
This terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical, HVAC control wiring, panel work, and equipment connections where a number 10 stud size is used. The crimp connection method makes it appropriate for use with standard ratcheting or non-ratcheting crimp tools. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and panel installers commonly use this style of terminal when securing conductors to terminal strips, grounding points, or equipment studs. Sold in a package of 25 pieces, making it practical for service van stock or small panel builds.
Designed for use with number 10 stud termination points in residential and light commercial electrical and HVAC control wiring installations where a partially insulated crimp-style locking fork terminal is required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit completely before crimping or landing any terminal. Use a calibrated crimp tool appropriate for the terminal and wire gauge to ensure a gas-tight connection. Do not solder over the crimp, as this can create a stress point and degrade the connection over time.
