The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18346 is a standard fork terminal designed for secure, low-resistance wire termination in electrical panel and control wiring applications. The terminal features a partially insulated nylon sleeve in red, allowing visual identification of wire gauge range at a glance. The crimp-style connection joins the terminal to stripped copper wire using a ratcheting or hand-actuated crimping tool. Rated at 600 volts, this terminal is built with a copper contact body plated with titanium nitride (TiN) for corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity. It fits a number 8 stud size. This SKU is sold in a package quantity of 50 terminals.
This fork terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work including control panel wiring, HVAC low-voltage and line-voltage terminations, and general equipment hookups where a screw-lug connection is required. Electricians and HVAC technicians commonly use fork terminals at terminal strips, bus bars, and equipment grounding points where a spade-style connection must remain secure under vibration. The red color coding indicates a specific wire gauge range consistent with standard color coding conventions for insulated terminals.
Designed as a standard OEM-style replacement or stock crimp fork terminal for use with number 8 stud connections in residential and commercial electrical and control wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or replacing any wiring connection. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimping tool sized to match the terminal and wire gauge to ensure a gas-tight crimp. Inspect the nylon insulation sleeve after crimping to confirm it is not cracked or displaced before restoring power.
