The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18340 is a standard fork terminal designed for secure crimp-style wire terminations in electrical panel and control wiring applications. Constructed with a copper contact body and a partial nylon insulation sleeve, this terminal is rated for 600 volts and accepts a number 6 stud size. The red color coding indicates compatibility with the appropriate wire gauge range for that color designation. Contact plating is TiN (titanium nitride), which resists corrosion and maintains a reliable electrical connection over time. Electricians and panel technicians use fork terminals like this when a screw or stud connection must remain serviceable without fully removing the fastener.
This terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, including control panel wiring, low-voltage circuit terminations, and equipment grounding or power connections where a fork or spade-style lug is required. The partially insulated design allows tool access to the stud while providing insulation coverage at the barrel. Sold in a package of 50 units, this terminal is a practical stock item for service vans, panel shops, and electrical contractors. CSA Certified and UL Listed for use in code-compliant installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or stock crimp terminal for use in residential and commercial electrical panel assemblies, control wiring, and equipment terminations requiring a number 6 stud fork-style lug.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating any wires. Use a calibrated ratchet crimping tool appropriate for the wire gauge and terminal barrel size to ensure a gas-tight crimp. Inspect the completed crimp for deformation or insulation damage before restoring power.
