The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18336 is a partially insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for secure crimp connections on 12 to 10 AWG copper wire. The copper contact is plated with TiN for corrosion resistance and long-term conductivity in demanding electrical environments. A yellow nylon insulation sleeve provides partial coverage at the barrel, protecting the connection point while leaving the ring lug exposed for bolt or stud termination. This terminal is sized for standard ring-lug hardware and is sold in a pack of 25, making it practical for panel builds, junction box work, and multi-circuit termination tasks. Electricians and panel technicians use this style of terminal when a secure, inspectable wire-to-stud connection is required.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical applications where 12 to 10 AWG conductors must be landed on threaded studs, bus bars, or binding posts. The D-shaped geometry provides positive orientation during installation and prevents rotation once fastened. Typical applications include control panels, power distribution blocks, and ground termination points. The pack quantity of 25 supports multi-point wiring tasks without the need to order in large bulk quantities.
Designed for use with 12 to 10 AWG conductors in standard crimp terminal applications including panel wiring, control circuits, and ground connections where a ring-lug termination is required.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician or qualified technician using an appropriately rated ratcheting crimp tool sized for the terminal barrel. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating conductors. Strip the conductor to the length specified by the terminal manufacturer and fully seat the wire in the barrel before crimping. Inspect the finished crimp for full barrel compression and verify that no bare conductor extends beyond the insulation sleeve.
