The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18324 is a partially insulated D shaped ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 16 to 14 AWG copper wire. The contact is made from copper with a TiN (titanium nitride) plating for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The nylon insulation sleeve is blue, which follows standard color coding for the 16 to 14 AWG wire range. This terminal is sold in a pack of 50 and meets CSA and UL listing requirements. Electricians and panel technicians use this style of terminal when securing wire leads to stud-mounted terminals, ground buses, or equipment chassis points where a D shaped ring profile is required.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical wiring applications, control panel assembly, and equipment wiring where a secure, insulated crimp termination is needed. The partially insulated design provides coverage over the barrel while leaving the ring exposed for fastening. It is a common choice in low-voltage control wiring, HVAC control panels, and general electrical panel work where 16 to 14 AWG conductors are terminated at screw or stud connections.
Designed for use with 16 to 14 AWG copper conductors in crimp termination applications. Suitable as an OEM-style ring terminal for control panel wiring, electrical enclosures, and equipment grounding or signal connections requiring a D shaped ring profile.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified technicians using a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for insulated terminals in the 16 to 14 AWG range. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Strip wire to the correct length to ensure full barrel insertion before crimping. Do not use pliers or non-ratcheting tools as a substitute for a proper crimp tool, as an improper crimp can result in high-resistance connections or pull-out failures.
