The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18321 is a partially insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 16 to 14 AWG copper wire. The terminal body is made from copper with a TiN (titanium nitride) contact plating, and the insulation sleeve is nylon, color-coded blue for quick wire-gauge identification during panel wiring or harness assembly. The D-shaped barrel provides a secure mechanical crimp that resists pullout and vibration in demanding electrical environments. This terminal is rated and listed to both UL and CSA standards, making it appropriate for use in commercial and residential electrical installations where certified components are required.
This ring terminal is suited for use by electricians, HVAC technicians, and panel builders working on control circuits, low-voltage wiring, motor control centers, and field wiring applications. The No. 6 stud size fits standard No. 6 machine screws commonly found on terminal strips, ground lugs, and equipment chassis connection points. The blue nylon insulation sleeve makes it compatible with 16 to 14 AWG wire, a common gauge range in control wiring and branch circuit terminations. Sold in a package of 50 units, this terminal is well suited for service vans, shop stock, or job-lot use.
Designed for use with 16 to 14 AWG wire on No. 6 stud termination points. Suitable as a standard crimp ring terminal in residential and commercial electrical control wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or trained technician in accordance with NEC guidelines. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating or inspecting any wiring connection. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for insulated terminals to ensure a proper mechanical crimp on the wire barrel. Do not over-strip the wire conductor, as excess exposed copper beyond the barrel can create a short-circuit risk at adjacent terminals.
