The VALUE COLLECTION BD-17441 is a liquidtight elbow strain relief cord grip designed to secure and protect flexible cables and conductors where they enter liquidtight conduit systems. Constructed from iron and steel, this elbow-style fitting provides both mechanical strain relief and a watertight seal at the conduit entry point. It accommodates cables ranging from 0.25 to 0.375 inches in diameter, making it suitable for a range of standard conductor sizes used in electrical and control wiring applications. Electricians and electrical contractors install these fittings during conduit termination work on panels, enclosures, and equipment connections where cord protection and moisture resistance are required. Each package contains 2 fittings.
This elbow cord grip is suited for use in electrical installations where conduit must change direction at an enclosure entry point and where protection against liquid ingress is necessary. The 90-degree elbow configuration reduces stress on the cable jacket and conductors in tight-clearance installations. It is commonly used in commercial and industrial environments, motor connections, control panels, and equipment with side-entry conduit knockouts. The fitting installs where a straight connector would create excessive cable bend or interference with adjacent components.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit cord grip for liquidtight flexible conduit systems requiring an elbow strain relief connector in the 0.25 to 0.375 inch cable capacity range.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for liquidtight fittings and strain relief at enclosure entries. De-energize the circuit and confirm the system is locked out before beginning conduit termination work. Thread the fitting securely into the conduit knockout and tighten the strain relief nut to clamp the cable jacket without deforming the conductor insulation. Verify the liquidtight seal is fully seated before restoring power.
