The VALUE COLLECTION BD-17353 is a steel, non-insulated conduit locknut sized for 1 inch trade size conduit. Locknuts of this type secure conduit connectors and fittings to enclosures, junction boxes, and panels by threading onto the connector body and drawing up tight against the box wall. This BD-17353 uses a standard threaded connection and is manufactured from steel for durability in typical electrical installation environments. Each package contains 25 locknuts, making it a practical choice for jobs requiring multiple terminations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this hardware.
This locknut is suited for use in residential and commercial electrical rough-in work wherever 1 inch trade size conduit terminates at a box or enclosure. Common applications include panel terminations, junction box entries, and conduit body connections. The non-insulated design is appropriate for standard conduit installations where a separate insulated bushing or fitting provides any required edge protection. The 25-piece pack supports production wiring work and service calls requiring multiple conduit connections.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use locknut for standard 1 inch trade size threaded conduit connectors and fittings in residential and commercial electrical installations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize all circuits and confirm the panel or enclosure is locked out and tagged out before beginning conduit termination work. Thread the locknut onto the conduit connector body, insert through the enclosure knockout, and tighten securely using a locknut wrench or screwdriver and hammer method per standard practice. Where sharp knockout edges are present, install an appropriate insulated bushing on the interior side of the enclosure after the locknut is seated.
