The VALUE COLLECTION BD-17330 is an angled, threaded conduit connector designed for use with liquid-tight flexible conduit systems. Constructed from malleable iron, this connector provides a durable, insulated termination point where liquid-tight conduit meets an enclosure, junction box, or panel knockout. The angled profile simplifies routing in tight spaces where a straight connector would create excessive bend stress on the conduit. At a 1 inch trade size, it accommodates standard liquid-tight flexible metal or nonmetallic conduit of that diameter. Electricians install this fitting as part of a secure, code-compliant conduit assembly in wet, damp, or vibration-prone environments.
This connector is suited for commercial and industrial electrical installations where liquid-tight flexible conduit is required to protect conductors from moisture, oils, or mechanical damage. Typical applications include motor terminations, HVAC equipment connections, pump wiring, and any installation where the conduit must angle into a box or enclosure. The insulated throat protects wire insulation at the entry point. This product is sold as a 2-piece package.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fitment connector for 1 inch trade size liquid-tight flexible conduit, both metallic and nonmetallic types, in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations.
This fitting is installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits and lock out the panel before beginning any conduit or wiring work. Hand-tighten the connector into the knockout, then use the appropriate conduit wrench or pliers to achieve a secure, watertight fit without overtightening the malleable iron body. Verify the insulated throat is seated properly before pulling conductors through.
