The VALUE COLLECTION BC04P0006 is a cobalt combo drill countersink designed to drill a pilot hole and cut a countersink recess in a single pass. Built to trade size 6 with a 1/2-inch body diameter, it delivers a 60-degree included angle and a 118-degree drill point angle suited for ferrous metals and hard alloys. The 7/32-inch point diameter and 7/32-inch point length set the pilot geometry, while a 3-inch overall length provides clearance for most standard drill chuck setups. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and metal fabricators use this bit when fastener head seating must be precise and repeatable in a single operation.
This combo drill countersink fits production and maintenance applications in metal fabrication shops, aerospace-adjacent sheet metal work, and general industrial settings where fastener countersinking must be completed efficiently. The cobalt construction with a bright, uncoated finish holds up against the heat generated when working stainless steel, alloy steel, and other hard metals. Right-hand cutting direction is compatible with standard drill press and handheld drill chuck rotation. The double-end type design extends tool life by providing a second usable cutting end before the tool is retired.
Designed for use with trade size 6 fasteners in ferrous and hard-alloy metal substrates where a countersink seat is required; compatible with standard 1/2-inch body chuck configurations on drill presses and handheld drills.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist or metal fabrication technician familiar with cutting tool operation. Secure the workpiece fully before engaging the tool, and set drill press speed appropriate to the material hardness and tool diameter. Inspect both cutting ends for wear or chipping before each use and replace the tool if the cutting geometry is compromised. Do not use this tool on non-metal substrates such as wood or plastic, as the cobalt geometry is optimized for metal cutting applications.
