The VALUE COLLECTION BC04P0003 is a combination drill and countersink designed for precision countersinking operations in metal, wood, and composite materials. Built from cobalt high-speed steel, this tool handles hard materials and elevated cutting temperatures that standard HSS tools cannot withstand. The trade size 3 body measures 1/4 inch in diameter with a 7/64 inch drill point, a 118-degree drill point angle, and a 60-degree included countersink angle. Overall length is 2 inches. The bright, uncoated finish provides a polished surface that helps reduce material buildup during cutting. Right-hand cutting direction and a plain cutting edge style make this a straightforward drop-in tool for standard drill press and hand-drill applications.
This combo drill countersink is suited for machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators who need to create pilot holes and countersinks in a single pass. It is appropriate for use in sheet metal work, structural fabrication, and general-purpose bench or machine operations where flathead fastener seating is required. The double-end style provides two usable ends, extending service life before replacement is needed. It is not an aircraft-style tool and is not a long-length variant, making it best suited for standard-depth countersinking tasks in light to medium production environments.
Designed as a standard trade size 3 combo drill countersink compatible with drill presses, CNC machines, and hand drills accepting 1/4 inch body diameter tooling.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with rotary cutting tools. Secure the workpiece fully before operation and verify the spindle speed is appropriate for the material being cut. Use cutting fluid when working with hard metals to extend tool life and improve finish quality. Inspect both cutting ends for wear or chipping before each use and replace the tool if the cutting edge is damaged.
