The VALUE COLLECTION B8MSTFE0875C400 is a fully threaded stud machined from 316 stainless steel to the B8M standard. It carries a 7/8-9 unified coarse thread along its entire 4-inch overall length, with a Class 2A thread fit for reliable engagement in standard tapped holes. The uncoated finish preserves the corrosion resistance of the 316 alloy. This stud is used wherever a bolt cannot be inserted from one end and a nut is required on both sides, or where a permanent anchor point in a tapped bore is needed. Maintenance mechanics, pipefitters, and industrial millwrights install this hardware in corrosive or high-moisture environments.
This fully threaded stud is suited for flanged connections, equipment mounting, and structural fastening in applications where corrosion resistance is critical. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it a common choice in chemical processing, marine, food-service, and wastewater treatment installations. The right-hand thread direction is standard for the vast majority of threaded fastener applications. Sold individually, it fits wherever a 7/8-9 threaded stud of 4-inch length is called for by the assembly or repair specification.
Designed as an OEM-style or replacement fully threaded stud for any assembly specifying a 7/8-9 UNC Class 2A stud in 316 stainless steel at 4 inches overall length.
Installation is typically performed by pipefitters, millwrights, or maintenance mechanics using standard hand tools and thread gauges. Always verify the tapped hole thread class and depth before installation, and confirm the mating nut or tapped bore is also rated for 316 stainless steel to prevent galvanic incompatibility. Apply an anti-seize compound appropriate for stainless fasteners to prevent galling during installation. Follow applicable torque specifications from the equipment manufacturer or relevant ASME or ASTM standards for the joint design.
