The VALUE COLLECTION B-UNI01 is a 1/8 inch black malleable iron threaded union rated for Class 150 service at up to 300 psi. This three-piece fitting consists of a nut, tail piece, and seat that thread together to create a union joint, allowing pipes to be connected or disconnected without disturbing the rest of the run. The black finish is standard for gas piping applications. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians working on low-pressure gas, air, or liquid piping systems where future serviceability is required at a joint.
