The VALUE COLLECTION AT5-32-A is a twin vibration-control pipe clamp designed to secure and isolate piping runs from structure-borne noise and mechanical vibration. Constructed from polypropylene, this clamp accommodates a 1-1/4 inch tube outer diameter and mounts using a standard steel plate backing. It is sized at 4.17 inches wide, 2.52 inches high, and 1.18 inches deep. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors install this type of clamp where vibration isolation is needed along copper, PVC, or similar pipe runs in both new construction and retrofit applications.
This clamp is suited for residential and light commercial piping installations where controlling vibration transfer to walls, framing, or mechanical equipment supports is a priority. The twin-body design provides balanced clamping force across the pipe OD, reducing movement and noise transmission at the mounting point. It is typically used on refrigerant lines, domestic water lines, or hydronic piping routed through framed or concrete structures.
Designed for use with 1-1/4 inch outer diameter tubing in standard pipe support and vibration-isolation applications across residential and light commercial mechanical systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off the relevant piping system and relieve any pressure before repositioning or replacing clamps. Fasten the mounting plate to structural framing or concrete using hardware appropriate for the substrate, following local building code and IPC requirements. Do not overtighten the clamp body, as polypropylene components can crack under excessive compressive load.
