The VALUE COLLECTION 934-000-192 is a square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and light alloy materials. Built from high speed steel (HSS), this single-end tool features a 0.015 inch diameter cutting edge with a 0.022 inch length of cut, making it suited for fine-detail work, micro-slot cutting, and engraving passes where minimal material removal per pass is required. The stub length configuration and 1/8 inch straight shank keep the tool rigid under load. A 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation for cleaner cuts at small diameters. Machinists and toolroom technicians working with CNC mills or manual knee mills are the primary installers of this tool.
This end mill fits applications demanding tight tolerances and small-feature geometry, such as mold work, die work, PCB routing fixtures, and precision prototype machining. The bright uncoated finish suits general-purpose ferrous and non-ferrous cutting where coating chemistry is not a requirement. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional and climb milling on vertical machining centers. The 2-flute configuration leaves adequate chip clearance for the micro diameter, reducing the risk of recutting chips in confined slots.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for 1/8 inch straight-shank collet systems on CNC vertical machining centers and manual milling machines accepting stub-length square end mills in the micro-diameter range.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the spindle drive before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully into a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the collet nut to the machine manufacturer specification. At micro diameters, verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as excess runout accelerates breakage.
