The VALUE COLLECTION 89751 is a fully threaded stud with a 3/8-16 unified coarse thread and an overall length of 3 inches. Fully threaded studs have no unthreaded shank — the thread runs the entire length, allowing installation from either end or use with two nuts for through-bolting and clamping applications. This stud is manufactured from carbon steel and finished with a zinc plating that provides a baseline layer of corrosion resistance for indoor and light-service environments. Maintenance technicians, pipefitters, millwrights, and general mechanical contractors use this type of fastener in equipment assembly, panel mounting, and structural joining tasks.
Fully threaded studs at 3/8-16 are a standard fastener size found across HVAC equipment frames, electrical enclosures, pump and motor mounts, and plumbing support hardware. The 3-inch overall length suits applications where a standard hex bolt head would interfere with surrounding components or where double-nut locking is required. This stud is sold individually per package with a minimum order quantity of 10 units, making it suitable for stocking in a service van or shop inventory for recurring mechanical assembly work.
Designed as a standard 3/8-16 fully threaded stud for general mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical assembly applications wherever a 3/8-16 thread form and 3-inch length are specified.
Install using two 3/8-16 hex nuts and a wrench or nut driver; a stud installation tool can also be used to thread the stud into tapped holes without marring the threads. Power down or de-energize any equipment before fastener work on live assemblies. Verify that the base material thread engagement meets applicable mechanical or structural requirements for the application. Do not exceed the torque capacity appropriate for a grade 3.6 carbon steel fastener — consult the project specification or equipment service manual for torque guidance.
