The VALUE COLLECTION 888-005 is a Schedule 80 PVC threaded pipe nipple designed for use in pressurized plumbing and fluid-handling systems. Measuring 2.5 inches in both nominal pipe size and length, this close-pattern nipple is molded from rigid gray PVC and threaded on both ends for direct connection to standard fittings, valves, and couplings. Schedule 80 wall thickness provides greater pressure rating and mechanical durability compared to Schedule 40, making it suitable for demanding service environments. Plumbers and pipefitters install this nipple as a short-run connector between threaded components in both above-ground and in-wall applications.

This nipple is used in residential and commercial plumbing systems where a short threaded PVC connection is needed.
