The VALUE COLLECTION 856-012 is a two-piece PVC pipe flange sized for 1-1/4 inch pipe in Schedule 80 applications. Flanges of this type create a bolted, removable connection point in a piping system, allowing sections to be disconnected for service, inspection, or equipment swap-out without cutting pipe. The spigot end connection slides over the pipe OD and is solvent-cemented in place, producing a rigid, leak-resistant joint. At 0.89 pounds, this fitting is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, making it well suited for chemical, water treatment, irrigation, and industrial fluid-handling lines where metal flanges would corrode or add unnecessary weight.
This flange is intended for Schedule 80 PVC piping systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. Typical installations include pump connections, filter housings, chemical dosing systems, and pool or spa equipment manifolds where a serviceable bolted flange joint is required. The two-piece design simplifies alignment during installation and reduces stress on the pipe during makeup. The spigot end connection is compatible with standard Schedule 80 PVC pipe and solvent cement joining methods per ASTM D2467 practices.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for Schedule 80 PVC piping systems using 1-1/4 inch nominal pipe size with spigot-end solvent-cement connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter familiar with PVC solvent-cement joining procedures. Depressurize and drain the piping system completely before cutting into an existing line or removing an existing flange. Use a PVC-rated primer and solvent cement appropriate for Schedule 80 fittings, and follow manufacturer cure times before returning the system to pressure. Bolt torque at the flange face should follow the gasket and flange hardware manufacturer guidelines to avoid over-stressing the PVC flange body.
