The VALUE COLLECTION 839-130 is a Schedule 80 PVC pipe bushing used to reduce a 1-inch female threaded port down to a 1/2-inch male threaded pipe end. Made from PVC, it features a Male Iron Pipe Thread (MIPT) outlet and a Female Iron Pipe Thread (FIPT) inlet, making it a standard reducing bushing for threaded PVC piping systems. Schedule 80 wall thickness provides greater pressure-bearing capacity than Schedule 40 fittings, which is why this bushing is commonly specified in higher-pressure fluid handling and chemical distribution applications. Plumbers, pipe fitters, and pool or irrigation system technicians are the primary installers.

Installation Notes
