The VALUE COLLECTION 724-4173 is a single-end, 4-flute roughing finishing end mill designed for material removal and finishing operations in one tool. Machined from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, this end mill handles tough alloys and work-hardening materials better than standard HSS tooling. The 30-degree right-hand helix promotes efficient chip evacuation while the square end profile delivers clean shoulder cuts. With a 3/4 inch cutting diameter and 3/4 inch length of cut, it is suited for peripheral and side milling operations on CNC mills and manual knee mills.

This end mill is appropriate for job shops, tool rooms, and production environments where a single tool needs to rough and finish in the same pass. The Weldon flat shank provides positive drive and minimizes pullout under heavy side loads. It is not center-cutting, so plunge operations require a pre-drilled entry point. Installation Notes
